While many experts agree that the North American c-section rate is too high, rarely, if ever, are post-partum complications from vaginal births ever discussed--especially before one delivers. I've recently been told by both a surgeon and my GP I'd be a candidate for an elective c-section, if my husband and I decide to have another child.
